At Alpha School in Austin, fifth- and sixth-graders are learning business skills, teamwork -- and cooking -- by operating a food truck, reports PBS. Their specialty is French toast.
Alpha is a chain of private schools that features two hours a day of AI-empowered academics. In the afternoons, students work with "guides" (not teachers) on activities such as public speaking, financial literacy, coding, art, entrepreneurship, riding a bike and outdoor education.
