Public college requires student drug tests

Every new student at a Missouri technical college must take a drug test. This appears to be most sweeping drug-testing policy at any public college or university in the U.S.  It’s undoubtedly headed for court.

  1. It *should* be headed for court.

  2. I don’t have any problem requiring regular drug testing in any school/college receiving public funding, as long as it applies to all faculty and staff, as well as students. Ditto for those receiving any sort of welfare/EBT/housing etc. or any other taxpayer support (SS included). I was in the military when the services cleaned up their drug problem, BTW.
