I agree that it’s a bad idea. I especially like this:
“Community colleges are colleges. I understand the temptation to try to be everything to everyone, but at the end of the day, they serve the community best by being colleges.”
Everyone seems to want CCs to do something of everything these days–take struggling high school students, provide classes for the severely mentally disabled, all sorts of things–but no institution can do all of that.
