Engagement = entertainment.
So what? Engagement=good evals,right?
I mean, really, you get more of what you promote with incentives.
Just making the point that engagement is really ed-speak for entertainment. Now, every lesson should have an element of entertainment as it helps focus, but too many mistakenly believe that it is the teacher’s duty to constantly grab and hold students’ attention.
