Meet the authors (except for me) of Unique Schools Serving Unique Students: Charter Schools and Children with Special Needs on May 24 from 2 to 5 pm at Charles Sumner School in Washington, D.C. The Center on Reinventing Public Education and the D.C. Special Education Cooperative will host a discussion on special education at charter schools, including “examples of innovative practices as well as specific recommendations for policy action, technical supports, and further research.”
