CCs try to do more with less

On Spotlight:  Community college leaders have pledged to boost their students’ degree and certificate completion rate by 50 percent in the next decade, but funding cuts make that unlikely. As enrollments soar, many colleges are increasing class sizes, shortening library and lab hours and cutting counselors to balance the budget.
