Community College Spotlight is on

It’s new! It’s exciting! It’s Community College Spotlight. And it’s written by me.

Community College Spotlight will take a closer look at the colleges that “educate the top 100 percent of Americans.”  The blog is part of The Hechinger Report, a nonprofit source of national education news and analysis published by the Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media, Teacher’s College at Columbia University. (They’re paying me! To blog! Yes!)

I’ll hope you’ll check out CC Spotlight, get the comments going, perhaps follow it on Twitter (CCSpotlight) or add it to your bookmarks. And please spread the word. I’d be happy to hear your ideas on what to cover, who to put on the blogroll, etc.

I’ll continue to blog here, so don’t go away. (You can follow this blog on Twitter at joanneleejacobs.)

    Looking forward to it…

  3. Congratulations! I wish you much success. Community colleges have been overlooked perhaps–but no more!

  4. My reading skills must be in decline.

I thought you had written a musical comedy.

But no, I clicked on the link, and it’s a blog.
