I fear what will happen when they actually get out into the big scary world where bad things actually happen. I read the Red, Blue, and Yellow Fairy Books as a child. It didn't scar me for life, even though lots of people died in those stories and there were various other horrible things that happened (in one version of Cinderella, her stepsisters cut off their toes and heels so they could try to fit into the glass slipper) And the bubble-wrap-i-fication of our children continues.
