Miss Brave has become the chief roach exterminator at her New York City school.
I come to school a full hour before first period starts — when the only ones in the office are me and the roaches — and I used to be able to use that hour to get some work done, but now I use it to kill roaches.
The custodian’s solution was to throw out the heavily infested chart paper, but Miss Brave needs that paper.
