(I'm just sayin'!) Yeah okay, a lot of the young gentlemen were rather handsome, too. Any casual observer who might have attended on Thursday would have had their preconceived stereotypes both of girls in science AND of the ridiculous demeanor of nerds simultaneously shattered. I would really love to see coverage of these young ladies' accomplishments spread far and wide in the appropriate sectors of the blogosphere. I was almost shocked by how many young women were in this competition and — dare I say it and sound terribly pervy — rather attractive young women at that. (I’m just sayin’!)
