On to Wisconsin

I’m on to Wisconsin this week to promote my book, Our School: The Inspiring Story of Two Teachers, One Big Idea, and the Charter School That Beat the Odds, which just came out in paperback.

Friday, March 23, I’ll be in Milwaukee to speak at a Soup and Substance lunch at noon at Marquette’s Alumni Memorial Union, room 163, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave. (open to anyone). At 7 pm, I’ll read from “Our School” at Schwartz Bookshop, 2262 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.

Saturday, March 24, I’ll be in downtown Madison at 11:45 am at Paisan’s, 131 W. Wilson. E-mail Jim Zellmer (zellmer at mailbag dot com) of School Information System if you’d like to come.

I’d love to meet my Wisconsin readers. I know you’re out there. (And thanks to Tom McMahon for the plug.)

On March 28, I’m doing a “table talk” at 1 pm at the California Charter Schools Conference in San Diego, Town and Country Resort, 5000 Hotel Circle North.

Check my book blog for updated events info.
