I’m in Milwaukee and on the go all day today, starting with a faculty breakfast at Marquette at 8:30 am. I’ll speak on “College Dreams” at a Soup with Substance lunch at noon at Marquette’s Alumni Memorial Union, room 163, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave.
At 7 pm, I’ll read from Our School: The Inspiring Story of Two Teachers, One Big Idea, and the Charter School That Beat the Odds at Schwartz Bookshop, 2262 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.
The lunch and, of course, the reading are open to everyone.
Tomorrow, it’s on to Madison, for an 11:45 am lunch at Paisan’s, 131 W. Wilson. RSVP to Jim Zellmer (zellmer at mailbag dot com) of School Information System.
I’m counting on adrenaline to get me through.
