Best of the edblogs

Washington Post columnist Jay Mathews and retired teacher Walt Gardner list their top 10 education blogs, working from readers’ nominations. After a so-so finish in the Weblogs Awards, I’m relieved to say I make both Mathews’ and Gardner’s favorites. In alphabetical order, the combined list is: Chalkboard, Critical Mass, D-Ed Reckoning, Edspresso, Education Policy Blog, Eduwonk, From the Trenches of Public Ed, Intercepts, Joanne Jacobs, MathNotations, A Passion for Teaching and Opinions (Coach Brown), Shrewdness of Apes, Susan Ohanian, Teaching in the 408, This Week in Education and TLN Teacher Voices.

Most of these have been on my blogroll; I’ve added several of the others.
