Scott McConnell, kicked out of LeMoyne College’s education school for his beliefs, has filed a lawsuit. Despite excellent grades and evaluations, he was dropped from the program after he wrote a paper suggesting that corporal punishment might be an effective way to manage a classroom. McConnell says he wasn’t warned that ideological conformity was a requirement for successful completion of the graduate program.
