A Band-Aid for Glue Boy

The Education Wonks’ Carnival Of Education: Week 11 is up.

Board of Education discusses movies to show in math class. A commenter mentions “Donald Duck in Mathemagic Land,” which I remember from middle school.

Ms. Smlph adopts the Band-Aid approach to education, and sees a change in Glue Boy.

  1. Thanks for the link.

I notice you have a book out in the fall. I just started working with blogcritics.org and we review books, etc.

They get A LOT of traffic (around 500,000 visitors per month) from google news and other sources. For the cost of a few books you could get a few online reviews and some exposure.

For a little more you could be one of five books highlighted for a given month. See http://blogcritics.org/archives/2005/04/19/081320.php

If you’re interested there is an email address at the link above.

Ms. Smlph’s story was interesting, but her commenters were, to me, more interesting. They are, or claim to be, teachers, yet they can’t spell and they seem to have an imperfect understanding of English (“You are represent”??). I guess it’s true that the worst students in college end up teaching in public school
