Number 2 Pencil is crowing about this story on the perfection of the number 2 pencil, which has “the perfect amount of reflective quality.” It’s Kimberly’s new tag line.
It amazes me that anything sharper than a crayon is still allowed in school. I can remember a (4th grade?) classmate being suspended for stabbing another in the hand with a pencil, no doubt provoked by some sort of relentless teasing. The break-away tip leaves a nice tattoo.
But let some kid use a pencil to draw a picture of a firearm…
