I’m going to a week-long writers’ workshop. I’m not taking a computer, and I probably won’t have access to one. And, if I do, I won’t be blogging. So, I’ll see you, faithful readers, on the 14th.

Or on the 15th. I get back late Saturday afternoon, take my daughter out to dinner and get up at 4 the next morning to drive her to the airport. She’s moving to New York City to work for a new magazine called Citizen Culture, “the magazine for the young intellectual.”

About Joanne

  1. You will be missed! I’ll be waiting.

I wonder whether you’ll be writing in longhand during the workshop or whether computers (or – gasp! – typewriters!) will be supplied.

Congratulations to your daughter for her job at Citizen Culture! I wish her the best of luck.

  2. Walter E. Wallis says:

Your daughter will go far for someone named after an aircraft engine. Citizen Culture seems a cut above JohnJohn’s mag. Best wishes!
    And finish the damn book!!!

  3. Bob Diethrich says:

No No Joanne! You are second on my blog stop every day, right after Rev. Sensing!

I don’t know what I will do? Perhaps I should see other blogs! 🙂

    Hurry Back; Have Fun

  4. Walter E. Wallis says:

How come Allison didn’t fill in for you?
    When is payback?
