Landmark College, which specializes in students with learning disabilities, is the most expensive college in the country: tuition is $35,000 a year; add another $6,000 for room and board. Sarah Lawrence, Kenyon, Trinity, Hamilton, Bowdoin and Brown charge more than $30,000 for tuition. That’s nearly triple the price of the average public university.
