Men make passes at girls who wear school uniforms
Girls who wear kilt-style uniforms to school are ogled by men who like the “schoolgirl look,” according to a Montreal researcher. Girls said “they feel sexually objectified in their uniforms,” the study says. The short skirts ride up.
I’ve always wondered why the traditional girls’ uniform features a short plaid skirt. If slacks are declasse, why not a longer skirt? And what is the pedagogical or religious significance of plaid?
