According to the veteran teacher, she saw a sixth grade boy with a belt in his hand struggling with a girl after class at Jefferson Middle School in Madison, Wisconsin. The teacher told the boy to leave the building. The boy, still holding the belt, approached the teacher, yelling at her. She slapped the boy in the face.
The teacher was suspended for 30 days without pay. The mother of the boy, who has a history of disruptive behavior, wants the teacher fired. Plus she wants $35,000 for “pain and suffering.”
The teacher should sue the boy and his mother for emotional distress and slander. Or perhaps other parents should sue for . . . Oh, who cares? It’s America. Let’s everybody sue everybody.
Via Steve Sharkansky, a son of Madison. He must have got out before that cheesehead thing took hold.
